unpopular opinion but, with consistency, mental and physical fulfilment, and a very comfortable dog bed, you can actually make their bed very desirable, and not worry about them chewing your home. I've owned dogs my entire life and took great care of them and have never purchased a crate in my life. My dogs all sleep in their beds and prefer it, they'll jump on the bed to say hi or lay in it when i'm gone but other than that 99% of the time they naturally choose their bed and toys. I find crate training so weird, would you like to be in a confined space with no choice or ability to fully sprawl out or stand up straight or go to the bathroom or drink water for 8 hours? that is torture. The ONLY time my dogs go to the bathroom in the house is when I sleep in way too late and don't take them out. Which shows me they try their hardest to hold it all the time unless its an emergency. My family members dog was crate trained and the dog got a fatal bladder issue from holding their bladder for way too long, they would always find the dog with a mess in the crate as well as the crate being too small for the dog. Idc who disagrees with me because that's my opinion, I wouldn't even want to be locked in a small room without a bathroom for 8 hours personally so imagining a box that's nearly the size of me? heck no. You can trust these extremely intelligent dogs to stay on their bed, they'll learn pretty much anything. So, please ditch the crate.

I am a Gemini and not sure if you are but you are right in a lot of ways with this videos.
